Strike Force Yarrum detectives charge two further men over drug supply syndicate, NSW

Two men will face court today charged as investigations continue into an alleged large-scale drug supply syndicate.

In June 2018, the Criminal Groups Squad established Strike Force Yarrum to investigate a syndicate involved in the large-scale supply of methylamphetamine, cannabis and cocaine across the Sydney region.

During the investigation, detectives charged a member and two associates of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG), aged 22, 27 and 28 on Thursday 23 May 2019. They remain before the courts.

Following further investigations, two men – aged 20 and 21 – were arrested at Blacktown Police Station just after 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 28 May 2019).

The younger man was charged with supply commercial quantity of prohibited drug, knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime, and deal with more than $100,000 proceeds of crime.

The older man was charged with supply commercial quantity of prohibited drug, and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime.

Both men were refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Wednesday 29 May 2019).

Investigations under Strike Force Yarrum are continuing.
