Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) crews have responded to a structure fire at Yirara College in Alice Springs.
At approximately 3:00pm on Sunday, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports of a structure fire at the college.
Firefighters attended the scene alongside members of the Northern Territory Police Force and St John Ambulance.
Crews worked swiftly to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading. There are no reported injuries reported for college students and staff.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
NTFRS Territory Duty Officer Anthony Blakeley said the rapid response played a key role in containing the incident.
“Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other areas of the college,” Mr Blakeley said.
“Their swift actions helped protect students and staff, and ensured the incident was brought under control safely.”
