Northern Territory Police are investigating a structure fire that occurred in Alice Springs overnight.
Police and fire services responded to a report of a house on fire in Madigan Street, Braitling at 7:30pm.
District Fire Officer Stephen Hunter said, “On arrival, the residents had evacuated the property, which was partially engulfed.
“Firefighters extinguished the flames and spent several hours securing the scene, as there was significant damage to the building. Luckily nobody was hurt.
“Investigations are ongoing, and the occupants are assisting police and fire investigators with inquiries.”
