Subaru arrests in Patterson Lakes

A Dromana man has been arrested after allegedly stealing nine cars during a burglary in Doncaster on 24 October.

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested the man at an address in Rhode Island, Patterson Lakes on 31 October.

Investigators have recovered four of the stolen Subaru’s as a result of the investigation.

The 41-year-old Dromana man has been charged with 11 offences, including burglary and theft.

He has been remanded to the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court today (1 November).

A 43-year-old Dandenong man has been charged with theft and has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 11 December after being located in one of the alleged stolen cars at the Patterson Lakes address.

Five vehicles remain outstanding:

2019 MY19 Subaru Forester – Blue – 1QJ5SO

2019 MY20 Subaru Forester – Red – 1QJ5SR

2019 MY19 Subaru Impreza – Silver

2016 Ford Ranger – Black – 1KL1AD

2013 Mercedes M Class – White – 1QE1YA

A red Mitsubishi Outlander, 1OK7JA, is also outstanding and believed to have been used at the time of the burglary.
