Adelaide Hills Council is offering a subsidy towards SALA registration for artists living and/or exhibiting in the district in 2022.
The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is held annually in August across the state, with the mission of allowing all South Australian visual artists of any level and working in any medium to be part of the event.
Artist registrations are now open with Early Bird prices avaiable until 20 April 2022, and in recognition of the impact of both the 2019 bushfire and COVID pandemic on the arts community, we are offering up to $125 per artist for the first 24 artists who apply.
Artists are eligible to apply if they:
- Are a resident of the Adelaide Hills Council area (regardless of exhibition location); or
- Live outside of the Adelaide Hills Council area, but will be exhibiting within the district.
Artists will be required to provide a receipt for their SALA registration.
