Sudden death in South Parklands, South Australia

Police are investigating an unexplained death in the South Parklands.

Police were called to the South Parklands, Adelaide, near the intersection of Peacock Road and Greenhill Road, just before 9am on Saturday 5 January after a body was found by a woman walking her dog.

The area has been cordoned off while police, including forensic officers, examine the scene.

While a formal identification is still to be conducted, police believe the body is that of missing 23-year-old Georgia Wallace.

Her family have been notified and request privacy at this time.

At this time police need to conduct further investigation to determine if the death is suspicious, self-inflicted or through natural causes.

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner.
