Queensland Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman at a Victoria Point home overnight.
Police were called to the Vanessa Place residence around 2am after a 56-year-old woman was found unresponsive and declared deceased.
Criminal Investigation Branch detectives and forensic officers are at the scene.
A man is assisting police with inquiries.
Investigations continue.
