Head on down to Werribee Racecourse from 22 – 24 January for Summer Celebration, a free event, that you can enjoy with your family and friends while relaxing in the warm weather.
With five different sessions running over the weekend, the Summer Celebration events are your chance to watch a movie outdoors, grab a bite to eat from the wonderful food trucks, chill out on the lawn and listen to amazing live music.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Adele Hegedich, said she knows how important it is for local families to get out and about and have some fun after experiencing lockdown for most of 2020.
“This is the perfect event to attend with the family and enjoy great music, good food plus there are activities to keep the kid’s entertained including face painting and games,” Cr Hegedich said.
“From watching movies like Ride Like A Girl, Doolittle to Mary Poppins Returns, face painting, sports activities and games – the kids will have the best time!”
Creative City Portfolio Holder, Cr Marcel Mahfoud, said there is plenty of fun for adults too and it’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends.
“The live music line-up alone will have you up and dancing – Aaron Schembri & Rosie Conforto Duo will perform classic songs with a vibrant twist at the first event followed by Soul Obsession Duo, Look Sharp Duo, Sonica Duo and Un-Limited Duo at the following events,” Cr Mahfoud said.
“The event will also comply with COVIDSafe plans and each session will be capped to 500 spots so make sure you book to avoid disappointment.”
This event will run from Friday 22 January to Sunday evening 24 January 2021 at the Werribee Racecourse with five sessions.
