Supporting cyber security cooperation in CLMV countries

As part of its cyber capacity-building efforts, the Cyber Cooperation Program supported the ICT4Peace Foundation to deliver a Senior Level Cybersecurity Policy and Diplomacy Workshop from 4-5 April 2019 in Naypyitaw, Myanmar for senior-level representatives from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV).

The objective of the workshop was to support ongoing cyber security cooperation between CLMV countries and to deepen understanding on the role of international law, norms of responsible state behaviour and confidence-building measures for a peaceful cyberspace.

The workshop was the fourth and final workshop delivered by ICT4Peace as part of the Senior Level Cybersecurity Policy and Diplomacy Workshop Series for CLMV Countries supported by DFAT, with previous workshops being held in Laos in 2016, Vietnam in 2017 and Cambodia in 2018.
