We are about to commence surface improvement works around the cricket wicket area at Gillon Oval in Brunswick.
Over the coming weeks, residents may notice machinery and temporary fencing surrounding the wicket to protect the area. Works are expected to take approximately two weeks, in which this area will be fenced off.
Residents and their dogs and still welcome to use the surrounding oval area.
Due to damage caused to the oval, we will be installing new top soil and planting seedlings in preparation for the upcoming sport season.
