Suspect image released after Mount Barker break-in, South Australia

Hills Fleurieu police are investigating a break-in at Mount Barker yesterday and have released an image of the suspect in a bid to identify him.

About 1.40pm on Monday 15 April, the occupant of a Cherington Street home awoke to hear the back door of the house open, and then footsteps and rustling in the kitchen. The suspect then entered the victim’s bedroom before running off through the back door.

The victim managed to get a photo of the suspect as he left the premises and police are seeking public assistance to help identify him.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 20 to 35, with a medium build and height. He was wearing checkered shorts, a grey t-shirt with white writing on it and a white baseball cap.
