Suspects Sought After Gilles Plains Carjacking

Police are investigating after a car was stolen at Gilles Plains last night.

Police were called to a car park on Lurline Avenue just before 7.30pm on Sunday 14 June, after reports that two masked men, one allegedly armed with a machete, threatened a man and stole his BMW sedan.

Fortunately, the victim was not physically injured.

The silver BMW sedan, South Australian registration S769DKN, was last seen turning onto Milbank Avenue, Gilles Plains.

Multiple police patrols and PolAir attended the area to search for the vehicle and suspects, however, they were not located.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and urge anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the vehicle, or has dashcam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
