Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a suspicious car fire which occurred overnight in Dandenong.
The incident happened at an apartment building on the Princes Highway when offenders have set fire to a car in the underground car park just before 1am.
The fire caused extensive damage to one vehicle and minor damage to three other vehicles parked nearby.
The fire also caused damage to the building’s plumbing and electrical supply resulting in 22 residents being evacuated and seeking emergency accommodation.
