Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a Nangwarry sporting club that occurred last night.
About 11.30pm on Wednesday 9 January, police and fire crews were called to a sporting club on Bednall Drive after a neighbour reported seeing a fire at the premises.
The club was fully engulfed in flames when patrols arrived but fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control. The premises were completely destroyed by the fire. No one was injured.
Police believe that the fire was deliberately lit and Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the home later today to examine the scene.
