Suspicious shop fire at Dulwich, South Australia

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that caused extensive damage to a shop at Dulwich overnight.

Just before 3.30am on Friday 6 September, police and fire crews were called to a pizza shop on Dulwich Avenue and the corner of Stuart Road, following reports of a fire.

On arrival, fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control before it could spread to neighbouring premises, but the fire did cause significant damage to the pizza shop.

Investigations have discovered the front shop window had been smashed and evidence of accelerant located inside.

Fire Cause Investigators are attending this morning to examine the scene further.
