Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) crews continue to monitor a bushfire burning in inaccessible land near Top Swanfels Road and Mount Huntley, south-west of Spicers Peak Mountain. The fire is currently contained and is posing no threat to property at this time. Smoke may affect the surrounding area. If affected, residents are asked to close windows and doors, and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
