Police have reported a man for weapons offences after a traffic stop earlier today.
About 3.45pm on Monday 17 August, police stopped a Holden ute on Gorge Road for a driver test.
While speaking with the driver, a 63-year-old man from Paradise, police saw a sword behind the driver’s seat. The item was seized and the driver was reported for possessing a prohibited weapon.
He will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
