Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a vegetation fire near the Bruce Highway and Tessellaris Trail, Takilberan. This fire broke out earlier today and is posing no threat to property at this time. Firefighters have contained the blaze, however smoke may affect the Bruce Highway this afternoon. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
