Talking dogs and cats

More than 800 community members have already had their say on pets and public spaces in Bayside.

Bayside has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in Victoria. With finite space and a growing population, it’s important we have a Domestic Animal Management Plan that balances everyone’s needs.

We’re encouraging everyone – those with pets and those without – to get involved and tell us their needs and concerns. This will help Council to set actions, plan programs and invest resources over the next four years where they’ll make the biggest difference.

Paw patrols

From this weekend, we’ll be out and about talking to community members about Bayside’s Domestic Animal Management Plan and how to get involved in the consultation. If you see us, please come over and have a chat (we’ve also got little presents for the doggos!)
