Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a further two men following investigations into the alleged theft of motor vehicles and high-end machinery.
Strike Force Gloam was established in May 2026 by State Crime Command’s Taskforce Falcon, continuing the investigation by Strike Force Duncan, into fraudulent offences and illegal motor-vehicle activities of organised criminal groups.
During the course of the investigation, detectives have seized 32 vehicles, machinery and a vessel with a combined total of $3.6m
Two men – aged 24 and 26 – have previously been charged and remain before the courts.
Following further extensive inquiries, strike force detectives executed a search warrant in Kingsgrove about 6.15am yesterday (Thursday 27 August 2026).
A 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station, where he was charged with deal with identity information to commit indictable offence, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday 22 September 2026.
About 3pm yesterday, strike force detectives arrested a 57-year-old man at Campsie Police Station, where he was charged with possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit and possess prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
