Tasmania’s senior secondary students receive their 2021 results

Michael Ferguson,Acting Minister for Education

More than 11,000 senior secondary students received their 2021 results from the Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) today.

I would like to congratulations all our students on their progress and achievement over the year.

Completing senior secondary school is a significant milestone in a young person’s life. The skills, knowledge and attributes that they have developed will help prepare them for the opportunities and the challenges of work and life.

Pleasingly, the preliminary results data suggests that we are maintaining the recent increases in the percentage of young people meeting the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) standards and achieving their TCE (final verified data will be available in 2022).

Regardless of what expectations or plans Tasmania’s students have for their future, I hope that they feel great pride and satisfaction in what they have accomplished over the year.

There are many pathways after finishing school and I encourage our Year 12 students to talk with their teachers and their preferred tertiary education provider about what their next steps are.

All of Tasmania’s senior secondary students are being emailed their 2021 course results progressively from this morning, with all students also being sent a printed copy of their results and certificates via mail.

Students who have any queries about their results are encouraged to visit the TASC website page Your results, including the FAQs for students on your results and the Results Queries form.

I wish all of our students the very best with your future work and learning, and a well-earned and enjoyable summer break.
