The Cook Labor Government is leading a delegation to one of the world’s foremost biennial energy conferences, showcasing Western Australia’s investment-ready opportunities across important sectors including clean energy, decarbonisation, batteries, and critical minerals.
This year’s Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) conference in Stavanger, Norway, will attract government representatives, industry leaders, and energy stakeholders from across the world. The previous event in 2024 attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and 70,000 trade visitors.
Organisations within the 2026 Team WA delegation include Woodside, Blakemere Engineering, SICA, Diversified Australia, Restore Subsea, Murdoch University, Pulse Technology Hub, Pivotree, CD Dodd, OMSB, and Liberty Industrial.
By attending ONS 2026 as a delegation these organisations will create new connections between Western Australia and international companies and promote the State’s collective competitive advantages to potential investors.
Following ONS, Science and Innovation, Ports, and Medical Research Minister Stephen Dawson will travel to both Rotterdam and Galway to attend key government and business stakeholder engagements.
These engagements range from meeting with Dutch investors who have invested in Western Australia and the Port of Rotterdam, to attending meetings with the Irish medical research sector and a business reception hosted by the Ambassador to Ireland.
As stated by Science and Innovation, Ports, and Medical Research Minister Stephen Dawson:
