Teen arrested for marking graffiti, South Australia

Police have reported a teenager after he allegedly marked graffiti on a number of fences and properties in Glenelg overnight.

Just after 1.30am on Monday 25 February, police received reports of two persons marking fences along Moseley Street. Patrols located one youth in Mosely Street in possession of a number of spray cans.

A search by patrols uncovered in excess of 25 properties on Moseley Street, Pier Street, Penzance St, Partridge Street and High Street which had been graffitied.

The 15-year-old from Aldinga Beach has been reported for mark graffiti and will be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date. Investigations are continuing in relation to a second suspect.

Police would like to hear from anyone in the Glenelg area who discovers their property has been marked with graffiti by calling the Police Assistance Line on 131444. Callers should then quote SAP1900047342.
