Charges have been laid after the death of a 14-year-old boy in a two-car crash at Thornleigh last year.
About 9:10am Wednesday 28 November 2018, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at The Esplanade, Thornleigh, and found a 14-year-old boy, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles had died at the scene.
The male drivers, aged 17 and 50, underwent mandatory testing in hospital.
Yesterday crash investigators charged the 17-year-old with dangerous driving occasioning death’ and ‘negligent driving occasioning death’.
The 17-year-old was granted bail and the matter is listed for court on Thursday 20 June 2019.
