A teenage boy will face court after an alleged home invasion in Sydney’s south west earlier this week.
About 8.45pm on Wednesday 6 May, police were called to a home on Longfield Street, Cabramatta, following reports of a home was broken into by an unknown person.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were told about 6.15pm the same day, a teenage girl was in the house when an unknown person gained entry and grabbed her head from behind and left the scene on foot.
The girl was not injured.
A crime scene has been established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, about 3.45pm yesterday (Thursday 7 May 2026), detectives arrested the 15-year-old boy in Cabramatta area.
He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (two counts), aggravated break and enter with intention, break and enter dwelling-house etc with intent, aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence, and aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence – deprive liberty.
He was refused bail to appear at Children’s Court today (Friday 8 May 2026).
