Teenager charged over Moonah robbery

Police have charged a teenager over the armed robbery of a store in Moonah yesterday evening.

The 16-year-old allegedly entered the store on Main Road about 5:15pm, in possession of a knife, and demanded money from staff before leaving the premises with a quantity of cash.

Police conducted a number of searches and the youth was arrested nearby a short time later. He was charged over this incident and separate stealing and trespass matters, and was released on bail.
