Given the evolving nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, Bayside’s four Libraries and Gallery will temporarily close at 5pm tomorrow, Friday 20 March.
We have made this decision to protect the health and safety of our community and staff which is our top priority. This closure will enable us to look at ways we can reconfigure our facilities and services to operate safely in a COVID-19 environment.
We are currently investigating ways to resume some contactless library services as soon as possible. This is in addition to the vast array of online library services currently available to Bayside Library Service members right now.
Any outstanding library loans will be extended and not fall overdue. Borrowed items do not need to be returned unless convenient and safe.
Arts lovers can keep up to date with the Bayside Gallery while we are closed by following the Gallery on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube where we will be showcasing our current exhibition Classy by Fiona McMonagle and future exhibitions.
