Ten stolen vehicles seized, South Australia

Ten stolen vehicles have been seized by police this week following searches of properties in the western suburbs.

On Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August, Western District Police searched numerous addresses in Rosewater, Wingfield and Woodville as part of an investigation into stolen vehicles.

Ten vehicles, including cars, motorcycles and a car trailer, all believed to have been stolen, were recovered by police.

Other suspected stolen property was also located, including registration plates, passports, laptops and personal documents. A taser was also seized.

A 30-year-old Rosewater woman and a 40-year-old Rosewater man were arrested and charged with nine counts of theft by receiving, unlawful possession, possess dangerous article and breach of bail.

The man was refused police bail and has been remanded in custody.

The woman was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 9 October.

A 64-year-old Beverley man was also reported for theft by receiving. He will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.

Investigations are continuing.
