Territorians are being encouraged to plan their next Territory Adventures before the second round of the coveted Territory Tourism Voucher registrations go live at 8pm.
Round 1, which went live at midnight earlier this year was fully subscribed within hours, and registrations for round 2 are expected to be just as popular.
The registration process is the same as round one, with eligible Territorians required to sign-up at www.territoryvoucher.nt.gov.au for a $200 voucher, redeemable on a $1 for $1 basis.
There are extra benefits to be claimed in round 2 with an additional $200 redeemable post-travel for eligible trips over 400km from home address, with the focus on this second round of COVID-19 stimulus on regional dispersal.
To ensure as many Territorians as possible have their chance to secure a voucher, once a voucher is issued it must be redeemed within 14 days (down from 30 in round 1). Unredeemed vouchers will be returned to the pool and be re-issued to the next person on the waitlist.
Round 1 has seen more than $9.6 million injected into the economy, and to a sector that was hard hit by COVID-19.
Successful registrations should receive their voucher code within 7 days.

“Our Never Have I Ever campaign encourages Territorians to do something here at home in the NT they have never done before, and the voucher scheme makes it that little bit more attractive to do so. It also benefits those in our tourism industry, helping create jobs for many who have been doing it during COVID-19.
