Caption: Residents are invited to come along on Saturday 5 August and plant some trees for the Tweed at Kynnumboon near Murwillumbah, as part of National Tree Day celebrations.
Caption: Beverley Fairley at her property at Kynnumboon planting one of the first trees as part of the Bringing back flying-fox habitat to the Kynnumboon floodplain project. Beverley’s family has owned the farm at Kynnumboon since 1862 when her great-grandfather Joshua Bray settled there.
