There’s Pathway To Success No Matter Where You Start

Jobs and Skills Australia

Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) has announced a new initiative showcasing training, education and career pathways to achieve personal success.

The inaugural Jobs and Skills Month is a collaborative, not-for-profit initiative bringing together people from across Australia’s education, training and employment sectors to share ideas, showcase opportunities and strengthen connections.

“The initiative kicks off on 20 October with the launch of JSA’s popular national roadshow in Canberra, featuring the skills of VET students. Across the following weeks, a range of JSA and stakeholder activities will take place before culminating in the Australian Training Awards on 20 November,” said Acting Commissioner of Jobs and Skills Australia, Megan Lilly.

“Jobs and Skills Month brings together information, insights and opportunities to help people take the next step, wherever they are in their career journey.”

“In a world shaped by rapid technological change, evolving industries and changing personal circumstances, success is increasingly about adapting, learning and seizing new opportunities.”

The month highlights the importance of building stronger connections across Australia’s jobs and skills landscape, helping create a more connected system that supports individuals whilst contributing to Australia’s productivity and economic growth.

“Jobs and Skills Month showcases the incredible work happening right across Australia. By bringing it together in one place, we’re making it easier for people to discover opportunities, connect with organisations and explore the many pathways available to them,” said Ms Lilly.

“That’s why understanding education, training and career pathways is important for all Australians, not just young people.”

With a wide range of online and in-person activities taking place across the country, the Jobs and Skills Month national calendar is the central location for community-led and Jobs and Skills Australia events.
