A third man has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl at Parramatta more than 10 years ago.
In 2025, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command commenced an investigation after receiving reports a 17-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted on Tuesday 8 December 2015 at a unit in Parramatta.
Investigators established Strike Force Dwarda and, following extensive inquiries, two men, both aged 27, were arrested at an address in Merrylands on Monday 18 May 2026.
They were both charged with aggravated sexual assault and remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 8.30am yesterday (Friday 23 October 2026), officers arrested a 27-year-old man at a home in Granville.
He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with aggravated sex assault offender in company with other or others.
The man was bail refused to appear at Bail Division Local Court 9 today (Saturday 24 October 2026).
