Third person charged over online drug distribution operation, NSW

A woman will face court today charged over her alleged role in an online drug operation that supplied prohibited substances across NSW.

Earlier this year, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Cybercrime Squad established Strike Force Bribaree to investigate the online supply of prohibited drugs and prescribed restricted substances.

In September (2019), police arrested two men and seized a significant quantity of steroids and other prescribed restricted substances. The seizure included over 5000 vials, 100kg of powder and 100,000 tablets in addition to a firearm, mobile phones and computers.

Following further inquiries, Strike Fore Bribaree investigators arrested a 58-year-old woman at a property at Bella Vista on Wednesday 16 October 2019.

She was taken to Castle Hill Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug, deal with identity information to commit indictable offence and participate in a criminal group.

The woman was given conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Wednesday 13 November 2019).
