Northern District Detectives have arrested and charged three people following a targeted investigation into the alleged trafficking of illicit drugs across Adelaide’s northern and eastern suburbs.
On Wednesday 30 September, police arrested a 36-year-old Windsor Gardens woman and charged her with seven counts of trafficking in a controlled drug.
She was refused police bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
On 30 September, a 38-year-old North Adelaide woman was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug after police located quantities of methamphetamine and MDMA during a search of a North Adelaide address.
She was refused police bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
These arrests follow the earlier arrest of a 34-year-old Windsor Gardens man on 19 July.
He was charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled drug and has remained in custody since being refused bail.
As part of the investigation, police seized approximately 313 grams of methamphetamine, 441 grams of ketamine, 248 grams of MDMA including approximately 837 tablets.
The arrests and drug seizures form part of SAPOL’s ongoing commitment to targeting the supply of illicit drugs and reducing the harm they cause within the community.
