Three charged after teen assaulted, robbed – Manly

Three teenage girls are due in court today charged after the alleged assault and robbery of another girl at Manly overnight.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were called to The Corso about 11pm (Saturday 11 July 2026), and found a 16-year-old girl suffering facial injuries, cuts, scratches, abrasions and a suspected broken finger.

She was taken to hospital for treatment as inquiries commenced into the incident.

Following assistance from members of the public, three girls, two aged 16 and one aged 18, were arrested in Dee Why and were taken to Manly Police Station where they were charged.

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with four offences: two counts of common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and aggravated robbery.

A second girl, also aged 16, and an 18-year-old woman, have each been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and aggravated robbery.

All have been refused bail, with the girls due to appear in a children’s court today (Sunday 12 July 2026), while the woman is due to appear in Bail Division Local Court 7 today.

Police will allege the injured girl was assaulted by the three, who subsequently assaulted a 30-year-old man who allegedly witnessed the incident.
