Three days of events in Greater Shepparton to celebrate International Day of People with Disability

Greater Shepparton City Council, in partnership with the Greater Shepparton Disability Advisory Committee, Shepparton Art Museum, Are-Able, V/Line, Department of Transport, Travelers Aide, and Intereach, is delighted to announce celebrations for International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) in 2023.


In early December, Greater Shepparton will come alive with a series of events, each contributing to the overarching goal of nurturing inclusivity and acknowledging the remarkable achievements of individuals with disabilities.

  • Monday 4 December 2023 – be inspired, entertained, and educated by the music of Gerry’s Well Oiled Machine. Gerry’s Well Oiled Machine comprises of people with neurodiverse and physical disabilities, all of who are accomplished, award-winning songwriters and musicians. Two performances are scheduled, the first commencing at 1.00pm and the second at 2.30pm. Both performances will be held at the Shepparton Senior Citizens Centre. Tickets at a cost of $5.00 per person MUST be purchased prior to the event via Riverlinks website
