Three injured; four arrested after home invasion at Doonside, NSW

Four teenagers have been arrested after three people suffered stab wounds during a home invasion at Doonside overnight.

Emergency services were called to a home on Cameron Street, just before 2.30am this morning (Tuesday 5 April 2022), after reports of a home invasion.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found three occupants – two men, aged 19 and 44 and a 35-year-old woman – suffering stab wounds.

Police have been told four people, armed with knives, broke into the home and assaulted the teen. The man and woman were injured when they came to his aid.

They were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead hospital in stable conditions.

A crime scene has been established and will be forensically examined.

As inquiries were being undertaken, police responded to McCulloch Road after reports of a crash.

A motor vehicle was found abandoned. With the assistance of the Dog Unit, four teenage boys were arrested nearby on Love Street.

The teens – three aged 16 and a 14-year-old – were taken to Blacktown Police Station where they remain in custody.
