Three more Operation Tidal arrests

Police from the Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit arrested three people in Dandeong on Saturday afternoon.

Officers were patrolling a car park on the Princess Highway about 12.50pm on Saturday 7 September when they observed a vehicle allegedly bearing false plates.

Police searched the vehicle and located more than $10,000 worth of stolen property, stolen number plates and drugs.

Officers also executed a search warrant at a property on the Princess Highway, Dandenong where they seized a further $5,000 worth of stolen property and drugs.

A man, woman and teenage boy were arrested and conveyed to Dandenong Police Station where they were interviewed.

A 43-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with multiple counts of theft, handle stolen goods, possess a drug of dependence.

He has been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 16 September.

A 39-year-old woman of no fixed address has been charged with multiple counts of theft, handle stolen goods and possess a drug of dependence.

She has been remanded to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 30 September.

A 17-year-old boy of no fixed address has been released pending summons.

This arrest is part of Operation Tidal which utilises a highly visible police presence across the Casey, Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Police Service Areas (PSAs).

Tidal is an ongoing operation and police will continue to focus resources where they’re most needed.
