- General public tickets now on sale for the 2026-27 Summer of Cricket
- Perth Stadium to host England and New Zealand in November and December 2026
- Fixtures form part of the Cook Labor Government’s economic diversification strategy
Western Australian cricket fans can now secure their seats for another blockbuster summer of international cricket, with tickets on sale for two major fixtures at Perth Stadium.
Perth will host the NRMA Insurance Men’s West Test between Australia and New Zealand from 9 to 13 December 2026, alongside a One Day International between Australia and England on 13 November 2026.
The matches will bring two of Australia’s biggest cricket rivals to Perth, with New Zealand set to play its first Test match in Western Australia in almost seven years.
The fixtures continue Perth’s strong run of major international cricket and further cement WA’s reputation as a world-class sporting destination.
WA fans will also have the chance to get behind homegrown talent, with Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, and Jhye Richardson among the players vying to represent Australia on home soil.
The WA fixtures, supported by the Cook Labor Government, form part of a huge international cricket summer, culminating in the historic 150th Anniversary Ashes Test later in the season.
As stated by Sport and Recreation Minister Rita Saffioti:
“Perth will once again host the first Test match of the Australian summer and that is a huge vote of confidence in our city, our stadium, and our incredible cricket fans.”
“These matches give Western Australians the chance to see some of the world’s best cricketers right here at home, while inspiring more young players to pick up a bat and ball.
“Major international sporting events are a great opportunity to showcase Perth, bring more visitors to WA, and support local businesses and jobs.”
As stated by Tourism Minister Reece Whitby:
“This is a fantastic tourism opportunity to attract more visitors to Western Australia for matches against top-tier teams New Zealand and England later this year.
“Securing these matches is another example of the Cook Labor Government’s economic diversification strategy to drive out-of-state visitation, showcase Western Australia to a global audience, and generate valuable tourism dollars for local businesses and jobs.
“Last year’s West Fest added so much excitement around the West Test and we expect Perth to once again come alive with a program of activities and experiences for local and out-of-state fans to enjoy.”
