Members are reminded that applications for the second round of funding under the Land Restoration Fund (LRF) close on 8 October 2021.
Building on the success of Investment Round 1, this round will see a further $25 million invested in carbon farming projects, with up to $5 million funding available per project.
Queensland farmers, landholders, land managers and First Nations peoples interested in developing a new carbon farming project (or entering the carbon farming industry) are invited to check their eligibility and apply.
The Carbon Farming Advice Rebate of up to $10,000 per person is available to assist eligible landholders with carbon farming advice specific to their property.
You do not need to have started your carbon farming project, or have applied to the LRF to be eligible for the rebate.
Advice must be sought from LRF Approved Advisors – solicitors, accountants, carbon project developers, environmental consultants or agribusiness advisers – who can provide advice tailored to your business. For full details please refer to the QRIDA website.
