Wollongong City Council is holding a Household Chemical Collection on Sunday 5 June at Fred Finch Park, Berkeley so residents can safely dispose of chemicals and problem waste items such as garden chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, acids, batteries, pool chemicals, gas bottles, motor oils and fuels, and paint.
The EPA-supported program helps keep toxic chemicals from around the home out of the bin and landfill.
If you can’t make the date, don’t worry – Wollongong Local Government Residents can drop off a range of household problem waste items for free, year-round by visiting our Community Recycling Centre in Kembla Grange.
