A man who lives and breathes sustainable principles will be the guest speaker at a special Logan City Council Library information session this month.
Roman Spur will present tips on Household Energy Saving and Water Efficiency.
He is keen to also show that it is possible to live a sustainable life in a rental property.
The session is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Saturday, November 9 at Logan West Library.
Mr Spur will discuss his homemade solar hot water system and a solar cooker made from recycled materials.
He will also talk about rain and grey water harvesting.
Mr Spur and his wife Jana embrace a sustainable lifestyle at their Brisbane rented property named SpurTopia.
The property includes edible gardens, bee hives, chooks and a worm farm.
Mr Spur is passionate about self-sufficiency, organic gardening, home produce, solar cooking and a healthy lifestyle.
