Tourism operators ‘muster up’ East Coast

NT Government

Twenty-four Territory tourism operations have hit the East Coast to showcase what makes the NT a unique destination, in order to boost our visitor numbers and increase the vital tourism industry.

The NT Muster is Tourism NT’s annual domestic trade show, and takes operators to the three key markets of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

With 00Seven Adventures, Kings Creek Station and Katherine Outback Experiences among those taking part, all regions of the Territory are represented.

The event reaches 370 travel agents and wholesalers, and educates and inspires them on the Northern Territory’s destinations, experiences and products on offer.

It also provides a crucial opportunity for operators to meet one on one with trade partners in key domestic markets.

The 2022 theme for the travelling roadshow is “Let’s meet up somewhere different this year” highlighting the Northern Territory is a unique holiday destination that’s different in every sense.

Quotes from Minister for Tourism and Hospitality Nicole Manison:

“NT Muster is a great opportunity for travel agents and wholesalers to learn directly from our local operators about what the Northern Territory has to offer.

As well as showcasing their products, the event provides an opportunity for our NT tourism operators to develop trade relationships and educate agents on how they can best market and sell the Territory.

Our tourism industry is a huge driver of the Northern Territory economy and provider of well-paying jobs for locals. Giving tourism operators a chance to sell themselves interstate helps them to drive their own future success.”
