Traffic Crash Appeal At Geham

Police are appealing for information following a traffic crash at Geham on Sunday, 18 October.

It will be alleged around 2.30pm a white Toyota Landcruiser utility was driving dangerously northbound along the New England Highway, forcing several cars to take evasive action.

The utility later crashed at the intersections of Kahler Road and Strack Road.

On police arrival, it will be further alleged the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle refused to comply with a roadside breath test, and obstructed police.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.

A 27-year-old Top Camp man was charged with two counts each of obstructing police, failing to provide a specimen of breath saliva, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, stealing.

He is due to appear at Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 13 November.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the Toyota in the lead up to or be involved in the subsequent crash or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
