Traffic Crash Appeal in Mooloo, QLD

Police are appealing for information or dashcam vision as investigations continue into a traffic crash in Mooloo, near Gympie, last week.

Initial enquiries indicate at approximately 1.15pm on Friday 21 August, a white Toyota Coupe travelling on a single lane bridge on Mooloo Road between Glen Musa Road and Burgess Road, swerved to avoid colliding with a silver SUV.

The coupe has subsequently left the roadway and entered the water below, with the SUV leaving the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the coupe, an 18-year-old Greens Creek woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

Police are also urging residents who may have CCTV or dashcam vision of a silver SUV in the area around the time of the crash to come forward.
