Trailer and $120,000 in building equipment stolen at Tottenham

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a trailer was stolen from a Tottenham business with building equipment loaded onto it last month.

It is understood offenders in a white utility and a white van got out of their vehicles and forced entry into a business on Sommerville Road about 4am on Tuesday, 9 August.

Police were told they attached a trailer to the utility and loaded it with two concrete grinders, worth around $120,000.

They fled the scene in the two vehicles.

Police have released images of two vehicles, a white utility with a black canopy on it and a white van with a poly pipe on the roof rack, believed to be involved in the incident.

Investigators hope that someone recognises the vehicles and can help to identify the offenders.
