Ballina Shire crews are attending various locations across the shire to clear debris and fallen trees from roads following this evening’s storm.
Roads closed or partially closed include:
- Ellis Road near Wardell Road
- Dalwood Road near Wardell Road
- Lismore Road near the Buttery (detour via Bruxner Highway)
- The Coast Road, Skennars Head
- Weis Lane, Rous
- Eltham Road, north of Teven Golf Club
- Kirklands Road, Fernleigh
- Teven Road (various sections).
Following roads open with caution due to fallen debris:
- Sneaths Road, Wollongbar
- Rifle Range Road, Wollongbar
- SImpson Avenue, Wollongbar
- Uralba Road (various sections).
Council will continue to attend to incoming reports of impacted roads.
