Nic Maddinson and Marcus Harris are unavailable as they take part in Australia A’s match against the England Lions at the MCG starting Saturday.
Eamonn Vines and Jonathan Merlo have been brought into the travelling squad of 12 players, with St Kilda’s Merlo a chance to make his first-class debut.
Will Pucovski remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from concussion. Sam Harper has returned to training and is in line to for selection in the upcoming Toyota Second XI fixture next week.
Victoria will be looking to string together consecutive wins after defeating New South Wales by 112 runs at the SCG earlier this week.
The match against Queensland begins Monday and will be live streamed on cricket.com.au.
