Two further arrests following hit-run crash at Para Hills West, South Australia

Two men have been arrested for impeding an investigation following a hit-run crash at Para Hills West last week that left a motorcycle rider with serious injuries.

Just after midday on Saturday 15 December, a motorcycle was travelling north Bridge Road when it was struck by Holden Vectra at the intersection or Ayfield Road.

The driver of the red or maroon coloured Holden Vectra sedan allegedly failed to stop.

On Sunday 16 December, Major Crash officers arrested and charged the driver, a 27-year-old man from Davoren Park with causing harm by dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Today (Friday 21 December) following further enquiries Major Crash Investigators arrested and charged a 43-year-old man from Andrews farm and 57-year-old man from Para Hills with impeding the investigation.

Both men were bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 22 February.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the red Holden sedan on Bridge Road leaving the scene of the crash at Para Hills West are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
