Two juveniles charged after crime spree across Tamworth, NSW

Two juveniles will face court following a spate of break and enters and stolen cars in the Tamworth area.

Between October and November police attached to Oxley Police District commenced an investigation into a number of break an enters in the area where cars were stolen.

Police will allege the stolen vehicles were used to commit other crimes across Tamworth including a police pursuit, a fail to pay for petrol and break and enters.

Following an investigation police arrested two juveniles.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with take and drive conveyance, be carried in conveyance (x3), stealing (x2), and steal motor vehicle.

A 17-year-old teen has been charged with take and drive conveyance, never licensed and stealing.

They were refused bail and appeared in a children’s court on Friday (29 November 2019).They were again refused bail and remanded to reappear in a children’s court tomorrow (3 December 2019).

Investigations are continuing.
